Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at TechByte. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development and delivery processes, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment of applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, optimize infrastructure, and drive automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions to support our software development and delivery pipelines.

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle, from code integration to production deployment.

• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications.

• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Bitbucket 

• Implement and maintain configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in system architecture, security, and scalability.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development and system administration.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure security.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
